Flora Chan (she/her) is a Canadian Certified Counsellor who offers a compassionate presence with her clients. Flora has earned a Master of Arts in Counselling and has completed Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) training.
She supports a wide range of clients between the ages of six to sixty-five years old with a variety of mental health and relationship issues. She believes in empowering clients towards a path of healing, growth, and restoration.
Flora uses an integrative approach which includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), play therapy and Gottman’s Relationship Framework. She integrates breathwork, visualization, grounding techniques, cognitive tools and mindfulness interventions. Flora believes in the importance of creating a strong therapeutic rapport fostering safety and openness. She works collaboratively with her clients to form goals while providing a relaxed ambience and empathic understanding.
